10 of the Best Fall Resources for Christian Families

Fall is my favorite time of year. I love to get the family outdoors for a fall hike, to look at the leaves, for a photo shoot, to sit around the fire pit, etc. So, I have rounded up 10 of the best fall resources for Christian families that you are going to want to add to your own bucket list! Don’t have a fall bucket list? I have a free one for you to download too.

It is also my favorite season to decorate. The colors, deep red, orange, yellow, brown, and all of the pumpkins, wheat, and sunflowers make me smile. I probably get a little too crazy with it.

So, all of the following activities and ideas are approved by a crazy, fun, fall lovin’ Momma! I promise you will find something here that your family can use. And, if not, give me your ideas at the end in the comments.

This list is fall resources specific for Christian families because I have included prayers and scriptures for the season. Also, I have included some alternatives to Halloween for those who do not celebrate. There are however, plenty of fun fall activities that will appeal to anyone.

1. Fall Family Bucket List

Have you ever made a bucket list? A fall bucket list is a must have since there are so many things to do and see and such a short span to complete them! Create your own from this suggested list that I have created for my own family or just print mine for free and have some fun!!

Does your family like soup? We love it and is so easy to throw together. Not to mention a good way to sneak those veggies in to the kiddos. As the air gets chilly, grab a warm bowl of soup and get cozy. Some of these are sure to become a new family favorite!!

You don’t have to be crafty or buy a ton of supplies for these ideas. Our family has tried many of these and they are fun for the whole family. They are arranged by catergory so easy if you are looking for apple, pumpkin, fall trees, etc.

Having an attitude of gratitude is what Thanksgiving is all about! These creative ideas will help the whole family join in and make the holiday more meaningful. Don’t forget to praise God for your blessings. I bet one of these will become a family tradition.

While the adults are busy cooking and then stuffing their faces and reminiscing about years gone past, sometimes kiddos get board. These easy, fun games will keep them busy and entertained.The adults might even decide to join in!!
