One look at a smiling child and you get a sense of joy, innocence, and trust. In so many ways, their minds and hearts haven't had time to become hardened by the world. Jesus used children as an object lesson to teach us spiritual truths. Mostly on, salvation, simplicity, & humility. Let's dive in and …

What the Bible says about the Power of Our Words

On July 2, 2021February 18, 2022 By arricahessIn Teaching Our Children8 Comments

"Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me." Our moms taught us this little chant with welling meaning intentions but it couldn't be further from the truth. Words hurt. That's why we all need a little Bible lesson on the power of our words. We've all been on the giving …

Looking at this vast, powerful, seemingly never ending ocean this morning reminds me of God's deep, powerful, never ending love for me & you. God is love. Praise Him for it. #godislove #morethanthedropsintheocean #ephesians318 I find that there is an alarming incomprehension of basic Bible facts in our churches today. What use to be common place-knowing the books of the Bible, having a general knowledge of books, etc.- is now obsolete. Well ain't that the truth. Lol. #saturdaysilly #just forfun #funwithmotherhood #itmademelaugh I posted this on my personal page and didn’t plan to share publicly but God reminded me that what He’s doing in our hearts is a testimony to Him. So along with honouring Him, I pray it encourages someone. #memoryverseoftheweek The opposite of worry is trust in the Lord. When we choose to replace worries with the truth and promises of God's word, we find peace. JESUS SAID DON'T WORRY. Try these instead. Want to live a life free of worry?? It's possible. That's my God!! 🙌❤️
