I cried and prayed for days over that ring. I told my sob story to everyone who listened and we scoured the house again and again. It started to consume me. The Holy Spirit's message to me: “Would you spend as much time, energy, and money in seeking my lost sheep as you have your ring?”
I realize none of us are raising the Son of God. But, we all have a serious calling as mothers to raise image barers of Jesus. So, what kinds of things should Christian mothers wanting to raise godly children ponder in their hearts and what is the benefit? Well, after praying through this and searching the word, I've come up with the following.
Nothing on this earth lasts forever. Our bodies get old; we die. Friendships fade. Trends come and go. Even the soil is eroding away and the stars fall. So, what can we count on in a body and world that are slowly passing away? What kind of good things last forever??
